Mathematics and Language Skills

  • Refresh your math skills by revisiting topics from grades 6 to 12.
  • For grammar and language proficiency, focus on content from classes 6 to 10.
  • Additionally, use supplementary materials such as textbooks or online resources to strengthen your understanding.

Progressive Difficulty

  • Tackle each topic by starting with simpler questions and gradually advancing to more complex ones.
  • Use resources that offer varying levels of difficulty to ensure a comprehensive grasp of each concept.
  • Practicing with different types of questions will help you adapt to various challenges in the exam.

Independent Study

  • Dedicate 1-2 hours each day for focused IPM preparation.
  • Concentrate on subjects like mathematics, reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Incorporate mock exams, sectional tests, and topic-specific quizzes into your weekly routine.
  • For IPM Rohtak candidates, make it a habit to solve 1-2 puzzles or Logical Reasoning sets daily, along with regular practice tests.
  • Consider creating a detailed study schedule to ensure you cover all necessary topics systematically.

Regular Practice Exams

  • Since the IPM exam evaluates both subject knowledge and time management, regular practice tests are vital.
  • Take mock exams for IPM Indore and IPM Rohtak at least once every 15 days.
  • Simulate real exam conditions during these practice tests to refine your strategies and build confidence.

Identify Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Analyzing your performance after each test is key to improvement.
  • Spend at least 3-4 hours reviewing each mock test, identifying areas where you performed well and where you need more work.
  • Reattempt difficult questions before reviewing the solutions to strengthen your problem-solving abilities.
  • Keep a log of your progress to track patterns and focus on areas that need more attention.

Start Early

  • Begin your IPM preparation as soon as possible, rather than waiting until after your board exams.
  • This will allow you to balance preparation for both the IPM and board exams effectively.
  • Regularly take mock and sectional tests to evaluate your progress and refine your strategy.
  • Set specific, achievable goals to stay motivated and maintain focus throughout your preparation journey.
