The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, reflecting The Oberoi Group’s commitment to nurturing talent, invests in candidates chosen for the three-year STEP Programme. Participants are enrolled in the IGNOU Bachelor of Tourism Studies, with all expenses covered, including course fees, accommodation, meals, transportation, insurance, and uniforms. In addition, candidates receive a monthly stipend. The program includes a dedicated study day each week, study leave for IGNOU exams, and annual leave. Upon completion, graduates receive a Bachelor of Tourism Studies degree from IGNOU, along with a Certificate of Proficiency from The Oberoi Centre. They are then prepared to join The Oberoi Group as Operations Assistants.

Candidates aged between 18 and 20 are eligible to apply. They must have completed their XII grade from any board recognized by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India.

1 | Group Assessment | Applicants participate in various activities and questionnaires in groups of 15-20, focusing on grooming, composure, and spoken English. |
2 | Individual Panel Interview | Selected candidates have one-on-one interviews with faculty members, assessing personality, attire, behavior, and hospitality skills. |
3 | Final Evaluation | Successful candidates proceed to a final round involving additional activities and a panel interview, possibly held in a different city or on a separate day. |
